I am Diana Wolosin, a UX Designer born, raised, and trained in Colombia.
Living in San Diego, California, and working as a Design Systems Designer at Indeed.com
Eight years of experience in design systems, product design, and project strategy.
Designed components from scratch, collaborating closely with developers, accessibility, localization, and content experts to meet various product team needs. These components were deployed for teams in India, Japan, and America, streamlining our global product workflow that includes over 500 UXers.
Conducted research and strategically planned the optimization of an entire Email Design System, involving the refactoring of 30 components along with the creation of design and individual documentation. Collaborated closely with the development team to maintain consistency throughout the process. As a result, this initiative successfully simplifies the library from xx to xx component variants.
Led the creation of a Figma Chart plugin project to empower our product designers and developers to create charts quickly, more consistently, and according to our design system guidelines. This project involved multiple disciplines, user interviews, accessibility, research, flowcharts, design, implementation, testing, and release efforts.
Contributed to the research of the Design System Ambassadors program, which aimed to improve the relationship between the Design System team and product teams at Indeed. As the Internal Platforms Ambassador, my goal was to connect with relevant individuals to explore internal products, identify opportunities for collaboration, and promote consistency across all Indeed.com tools. This helped to speed up our internal global product workflow.
Led the creation of a factory platform to track production. I worked on the project from the ground up, conducted research studies, created reports, interviewed users, designed the web platform, and guided development implementation.
Led the creation of the design system for an IoT Fleet Management start-up, from the research to the adoption, maintenance, documentation, and training. This project streamlined the designers' and developers' workflow and improved the company's product consistency.
