Design Is My Foundation

Design trained how I think.

It trained me in composition, hierarchy, rhythm, proportion, contrast.
It trained me in Gestalt, how elements group, separate, align, and create meaning through structure.
It trained me in color theory, harmony and tension, signal and noise.

Design is not decoration. It is Intention.

When we talk about user experience, we are referring to how a human interacts with a system and how its structure guides behavior.

Through that practice, I learned that what appears visual is always structural:

• Patterns encode business logic.
• Components enforce constraints.
• Tokens define boundaries.
• Guidelines shape decisions.

Every visual decision implies a rule. Every rule implies a system. I apply that same structural thinking to the representation of knowledge itself.

AI Is a New User (AIX)

We now have a new entity interacting with our design systems:

• AI retrieves documentation.
• AI reasons over constraints.
• AI generates artifacts.
• AI evaluates outputs.

That means design systems no longer serve only humans. They must also serve machine reasoning.

If our systems are not machine-readable, AI improvises.
If our systems are structured, AI becomes reliable.

This is where AIX is born: the experience of AI as it accesses and reasons over human expertise.

We are not just designing interfaces anymore. We are designing knowledge structures that both humans and AI can navigate.

What I Build

I design infrastructure for intent.

I translate design systems into machine-readable structures so AI can reason over constraints, states, and decision boundaries, not just generate fragments.

I codify:

• Design system documentation
• Human knowledge
• Business logic
• Quality heuristics
• Constraints

I architect context engines that agents can understand, reason through to increase human velocity while preserving intent and system integrity.

I design systems that both humans and AIs can understand, trust, and build on.
